CranioSacral Therapy
What it is
A light touch and intuitive healing modality that allows restrictions in the body to be identified and resolved, bringing your body back into a state of balance. Sessions involve dialogue to connect the dots from your physical symptoms and sensations to emotions, memories and beliefs that hold those patterns in place.
Kelly is skilled at tuning into subtle energy, practicing compassionate listening and asking pointed questions that quickly get to the heart of those patterns. She is a CranioSacral Therapist, having completed her training with the Upledger Institute, the leading international organization in the field and the only program true to the work of Dr. John E. Upledger, its original creator.
How it works
-
This modality is co-created with your active participation, as Kelly facilitates you in exploring energetic patterns in the body, and conversation takes place to explore physical sensations, emotions and memories tied to your body’s organizing patterns. A willingness to examine those connections can maximize the potential of this work.
-
Tuning in deeply to the patterns in place allows us to uncover the root of how they came to be, which is often tied to survival response and past memories. It is from this place we can renegotiate or dissolve the pattern to create a shift at the cellular level.
-
Rather than the “top-down” approach of psychotherapy, in which the mind alone is expected to drive change, this is a “bottom-up” approach that involves the body’s implicit wisdom and stored memories in creating change, which often proves to be more effective and fast-paced at creating results.

“As someone who didn't have much experience or belief in alternative modalities of healing, I was blown away by the profound experience Kelly facilitated for my first CranioSacral session. I went in open minded and ready to be guided, then left in unexpected tears of relief. Kelly's ability to tap into my nervous system, sense disruptions in my body, and ask the right questions moved mountains for me in the matter of an hour. Not only would I recommend CranioSacral but I would like to offer particular praise to Kelly's innate and dynamic approach to this modality.”
